About

Over the last 20+ years the US beer market has witnessed a remarkable shift, both in consumer behavior as well as brewery offerings.

At many points during this time, Domestic and Premium growth has been sluggish and various Imports have been under a lot of pressure. All the while, US craft has shown exponential and progressive growth leading to an estimated 15% (by volume) and 25% (by value) market share today. With over 9,000 US craft breweries and counting, competition for shelf space, tap handles, and distributor “share of mind” has never been more fierce, and over the last couple of years we’ve seen that a certain level of growth saturation has been reached. In this environment, CraftCanTravel LLC was established in 2012 as the very first full service craft beer exporting company, going places few others were, and finding growth opportunities for US craft that hadn’t previously existed.

Today, we cover the entire beer export supply chain, from ‘source to end user’ and actively develop markets on 4 continents.

CraftCanTravel works hand in hand with our supply partners, schedules in-land trucking to our warehouses on the East and West coasts, prepares and handles 20’ and 40’ containers (dry + refrigerated), manages port and customs procedures, and organizes overseas shipping to some 45+ import partners all over the globe. In addition to logistics, we also manage all commercial aspects involved, actively and directly overseeing craft beer portfolio performances in our markets through yearly business plans and frequent in-market visits making sure that suppliers’ expectations and growth targets are being met. Over the past 10 years, CraftCanTravel has established an industry unique and global US craft beer export network. Today we are the segment leader, in our own right, and we continue to build, grow, and expand our international footprint.
